Mondevices showcased MonBaby product on Internet Of Things Fair in New York City. Event was big and sponsored by Microsoft, Flextronics, IEEE. HP, IBM and Atmel were present. We got a lot of attention, collected a lot of contacts and quickly run out of our own materials and business cards. Next time we would need to bring in more.
We got a lot of questions from investors, vendors and service providers. One trend I noticed that there is increasingly a lot of platform being developed that cater to data collected from wearable devices. Wot.io sponsored the event and there were a lot of platforms with open and fee based API.
We have finalized a new enclosure and snap design. Note that this is a 3D printed prototype made of a transparent plastic. The real plastic is going to be white, blue or pink. The picture is attached belowRead More
Last Friday December 5th, Mondevices were invited on an ABC Good Morning America show with Barbara Corcoran from Shark Tank show. We were selected to be one of 15 inventions to have a chance to pitch to Barbara. She chose a waffle maker who will have a one-on-one time with her, but Mondevices got very kind words from her and from the audience. Audience loved our product and was very encouraging. The whole episode had a Christmas theme and people were very cheerful and supportive.
This was the first time I was inside the studio and saw all inner workings of the morning show production. The studio is divided into sections. One section is being filmed while the other section is being prepared for the next segment. Cameras are located in the center of the room and easily rotated between the sections. During the switch the cameras are switched to the outside crowd or to pre-recorded video clips.
After the segment we were treated to an interview with Cameron Diaz. It was very interesting glimpse inside the workbench of TV studio.
Here are some pictures from the GMA show, unfortunately we could not make pictures inside the studio.
